Contact your IT team to help with the software installation process.

Remove the Existing ImageInbox App

  1. Open the Java Control Panel

    • Windows: Go to Start → Control Panel → Java (or search for “Java Control Panel”).

    • macOS: Open System Preferences → Java to launch the Java Control Panel.

  2. Delete Cached Applications

    • In the Java Control Panel, go to the General tab.

    • Under Temporary Internet Files, click View…

    • In the list of applications, select ImageInbox.

    • Click Remove Selected (or Delete) to remove the cached version of the app.

    • Close the Java Control Panel when done.

How to Install and Launch the LATEST VERSION OF ImageInbox

  1. Install OpenWebStart

    Download and install OpenWebStart on your computer. This software enables running Java-based applications distributed as .jnlp files.

  2. Download the ImageInbox App

    Save the ImageInbox.jnlp file to your computer (it will usually appear in your default Downloads folder).

  3. Open the JNLP File

    • Locate the downloaded .jnlp file in your file browser.

    • Right-click (or double-click) the file and choose Open With → OpenWebStart.

    • On Mac computers, you may need to allow the app to open under System Settings → Security & Privacy if macOS blocks it the first time.

  4. Allow the Application to Launch

    The app will begin downloading additional components. If a security prompt appears asking for permission to run the application, choose Allow or Run.

  5. Log In to ImageInbox

    Once loading completes, the ImageInbox login screen will appear. You can then sign up for a new account or sign in with your existing credentials.

Sign Up

After installation, open the app, select "Sign-Up" and "Study Coordinator", and fill out the form. An activation code will be sent to your email. Once you receive the code, you can start the app and sign in with our user ID (email) and password. Next, enter the code (only upon initial startup).

To complete the user ID registration, please contact us using the contact form and provide us your user ID, trial name, and trial site ID for each trial. We will confirm your profile registration.
